The awards listed below recognize excellence in graduate research and help students advance innovative projects across a broad range of disciplines. - Daphne and Ted Pengelley Endowment for Research in Evolutionary Biology**
- This award is chosen by recommendation of the Center for Population Biology director and an appointed committee of faculty in evolutionary biology. The call for applications is sent out annually via the Department of Evolution and Ecology, typically in May.
- Maureen Stanton Graduate Student Award*
- This award supports graduate student research dedicated to understanding the evolution and ecology of populations, species, communities and ecosystems. The graduate student pool of applicants can be drawn from Ph.D. students who are academically supervised and working in the research group of an EVE faculty member, or who is pursuing a PhD from the Population Biology Graduate Group (PBGG).
