CPB programs emphasize training future generations of population biologists in an atmosphere that ensures unfettered creativity, productivity, and independence.
Our efforts include establishment in 1992 of the Population Biology Graduate Group, which offers a doctoral degree in population biology, and a CPB postdoctoral fellowship program.
Through research fellowships, workshops, seminars, a visiting scientist program, and a novel mentorship program that fosters research collaborations between graduate students and postdoctoral associates, the Center for Population Biology integrates traditionally separate approaches to understanding biological diversity.
